Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Take store inventory counts and monitor accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and uphold security measures
• Perform general cleaning duties and handle product weighing up to 45 pounds

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Operate a cash register efficiently and operate store equipment
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent education and experience combination considered
