Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in the store's operations, including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Aldi Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Report product feedback, inventory issues, and contribute to store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow all company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Capable of following company policies and procedures with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
