Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your exceptional customer service skills and collaborative approach will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with shopping
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capability to maintain store cleanliness to company standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is advantageous
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge
