Full-Time Store Associate (New Store)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at our new store location. As a Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our patrons.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills required for the role
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and keep shelves organized
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash handling procedures and company policies
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of maintaining cleanliness to company standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking efficiently
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
