Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN

Job Description

Join our clinical team at Genesis Healthcare as an Infection Control Nurse - LPN/LVN. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will manage the Infection Prevention and Control Program for one or multiple centers. Your role will involve a wide range of responsibilities including Infection Prevention and Control Activities, Outbreak Management, and Employee Health Monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee the Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Provide guidance and education to staff on infection prevention best practices.
• Conduct surveillance and analysis of infections to support data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure compliance with infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with LPN/LVN licensure.
• Specialized training in infection prevention and control.
• Minimum of three years of full-time nursing experience.
• Previous experience in long-term care nursing and infection control is preferred.
