Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Reno, NV. As a key team member, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo using efficient procedures. Your role will also involve the loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods to various destinations.

General Description of Duties:

• Perform pickup and delivery tasks within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Utilize proper loading and unloading techniques ensuring cargo safety.
• Adhere to designated schedule based on terminal location requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 21 years.
• At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience (training available for candidates with less experience).
• Hold a Class-A CDL with necessary endorsements and no automatic restriction.
• Maintain a stable work record and clean driving history.
• Pass required DOT screenings and meet medical standards.
