Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/LVN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. As an LPN/LVN, you will provide skilled nursing care, coordinate patient care, and ensure compliance with care plans and physician orders. We have opportunities for NG-Tube Nurses and Weekend Nurses with flexible shifts.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver quality patient care in line with physician orders.
• Continuously assess patient condition and report changes.
• Document activities, assessments, and nursing actions promptly.
• Participate in care plan development and implementation.
• Take necessary nursing actions based on assessments.
• Recognize and address changes in patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and infection control measures.
• Educate patients and families on self-care and prevention strategies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance.

• Good organization and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English.
• Must be able to travel and lift 50 pounds.
• Physical agility for patient care needs.

Must be adaptable to various environments and potential exposure risks including infectious diseases.
