Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and ambitious Manager in Training to join Aldi, one of the leading retail companies. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training in all aspects of store management, preparing you to lead your own store successfully. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational strategies while nurturing and guiding your team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise team performance to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Communicate and embody company values to foster a cohesive team environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and ensure swift issue resolution.
• Maintain store appearance and product quality standards.
• Participate in recruiting and training store personnel.
• Create and adjust schedules to optimize staffing levels.
• Conduct performance reviews and recommend advancements or changes as necessary.
• Manage store budgets and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Monitor market trends and provide feedback for product selection.
• Promote a safe working environment and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Oversee merchandising and inventory management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent customer service skills and team leadership capabilities.
• Proficient in interpreting and implementing company policies.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Prior retail experience and management background preferred.

Educational Background

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to qualifications.
• Prior managerial experience is an advantage.
