Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join us as a Manager in Training at Aldi. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to learn and develop the skills needed to successfully manage a store. As a Manager in Training, you will be involved in various aspects of store operations, from supervising daily activities to developing operational plans. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing the team to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure overall store performance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day store operations to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Understand and communicate company values and strategies to create a cohesive team environment.
  • Manage staffing, schedules, and operational plans effectively.
  • Handle customer concerns and ensure resolutions are appropriate.
  • Maintain store signage and product quality.
  • Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating store personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of retail management principles.
  • Experience operating cash registers and store equipment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
