Responsibilities
- Enforce sectional and departmental policies for effective operations.
- Monitor supply purchases and personnel scheduling based on patient census.
- Be the ultimate resource for technical personnel, providing guidance and training.
- Review and revise policy manuals to ensure compliance and accurate results.
- Evaluate and develop technical competency of personnel.
- Establish relationships with employees to support their goals and development.
- Take responsibility for problem-solving and keep supervisors informed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- MT/MLT certification from ASCP required.
- 5-7 years of experience in a hospital lab setting.
