Job Description
ArcBest II ABF Freight is currently seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our team in Honolulu, HI. As a City Driver with ABF Freight, you will be responsible for efficient cargo pickup and delivery, utilizing cutting-edge technology and procedures to maintain strong customer relationships and ensure timely transportation.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Load and unload trailers using dock worker techniques and procedures.
- Adapt duties and schedules based on terminal location requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience required; training available for less experienced applicants.
- Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
- Stable work history and strong work ethic.
- Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT drug screening and medical requirements.
