Job Description
Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Oncology Account Manager to promote its products and develop business relationships with therapeutic specialists in the Lehigh Valley area. This position plays a crucial role in implementing marketing strategies and achieving sales targets. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Oncology Account Manager will focus on Adult Oncology products, primarily in the areas of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC).
Responsibilities
- Promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals' Adult Oncology products to healthcare providers in designated territory.
- Educate physicians about company products, ensuring up-to-date information dissemination.
- Meet sales forecasts and targets.
- Organize medical information exchange meetings in line with company policies.
- Collaborate with Technical Staff to boost product revenue.
- Identify key healthcare professionals in the territory and maintain strong relationships.
- Support company sales strategy and comply with legal/regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in Oncology sales preferred.
- Strong product knowledge and communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Post-graduate business school study or training.
- Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical specialty sales or 3 years of Oncology sales experience.
- Experience in Hematology, Solid tumors, AML, or Lung Cancer highly desired.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Frequent travel between sites.
- Operating office machinery and frequent computer use.
- Business attire required for public interactions.
