Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Denver, CO at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As an essential part of our operations, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight, as well as maintaining a positive and safe working environment for our team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for loading/unloading freight.
• Maintain appropriate load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks and coordinate work assignments.
• Provide training, feedback, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Handle hazardous materials safely.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation and/or related field.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
