Job Description

We are hiring an Operations Supervisor I in Denver, CO to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As an Operations Supervisor I, you will play a vital role in planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure timely, safe, and damage-free loading/unloading of freight.

General Duties

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for loading/unloading freight.
• Assign tasks to workers according to schedules.
• Maintain load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Provide training, feedback, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous materials.
• Collaborate in a team setting to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in service center or transportation preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of proper freight handling techniques.
