Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Denver, CO at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. You will play a crucial role in managing resources to ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight during assigned shifts.

General Duties

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for timely, damage-free, and safe freight handling.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe operation.
• Assign tasks according to schedules, monitor performance, and provide training and feedback.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment and promote safe handling of materials.
• Work collaboratively in a values-driven culture to achieve department goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; prior transportation and supervisory experience advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of freight handling techniques.
