Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Denver, CO at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the efficient loading and unloading of freight, ensuring timely and safe delivery to our customers.

General Duties

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign tasks, provide training, and feedback to workers.
• Coordinate work assignments and monitor performance.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Promote safe handling and storage of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Support company values and culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior experience in service center or transportation preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of freight handling techniques.
