Job Description: Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)

Aveanna Healthcare is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role involves delivering quality patient care, maintaining patient documentation, and ensuring compliance with care plans and physicians' orders.

Essential Job Functions:

• Coordinate and deliver quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient condition, report changes, and document care activities.
• Participate in care plan implementation and updates.
• Take appropriate nursing actions based on assessments.
• Recognize and prevent potential risks to patient well-being.
• Comply with Aveanna policies and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families on self-care techniques.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
• CPR certification.
• Proficient in clinical assessments and documentation.

Additional Requirements:

• Six months of recent clinical experience as a Licensed Nurse.
• Home health experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to reposition patients and move equipment.
