Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to enhance the ALDI shopping experience in a collaborative team setting. As a Cashier or Stocker, you will operate registers, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and serve customers. This role offers diverse daily tasks in a dynamic environment.

Position Details

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and share relevant information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of documents
• Operate cash registers, stock shelves, and ensure neat displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Follow merchandising guidelines and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Efficient time management and product knowledge

Requirements

• Cashier: Efficient operation of a cash register
• Cashier: Compliance with alcohol selling regulations
• Stocker: Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks and scrubbers
• Physical ability to lift and stock items up to 45 pounds

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• A combination of education and experience will be considered
