Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a valued member of our collaborative team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities include operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leaders.
• Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within the area of responsibility.
• Perform cashier or stocker duties as assigned.

Cashier Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, provide exceptional customer service, and adhere to cash policies and procedures.

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, rotate products, follow merchandising planograms, organize new inventory, and operate machinery following safety procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
