Patient Care Tech / Women's Oncology PCT

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Tech to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center, specializing in Women's Oncology care. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting patient care activities under the supervision of registered nurses, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with registered nurses to provide patient care and support.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs accurately.
• Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in hourly rounding and shift reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of patient care procedures.
• Preferred: Experience in acute or long-term care, proficiency in phlebotomy, or certification in CNA, PCT, or paramedic.
