Job Description: Registered Nurse

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care while upholding confidentiality standards and professional boundaries. The RN will deliver quality patient care, assess patient conditions, document activities, and educate patients and families.

Essential Job Functions:

• Coordinate and deliver quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
• Continuously assess patient condition and report changes to the supervisor or physician.
• Document all activities, assessments, and care coordination efficiently.
• Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
• Take appropriate nursing actions based on assessments to achieve expected outcomes.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing School.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance.
• State-specific requirements may apply.

Preferences:

• Six months of recent clinical experience as a Licensed Nurse.
• Home health experience.

Skills/Abilities:

• Attention to detail.
• Effective problem-solving and time management.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and travel.
• Prolonged walking, standing, bending, and climbing stairs.
• Visual, hearing, and sensory acuity required.
