Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with patients, families, staff, and management.
• Demonstrate proficiency in handling multiple priorities and working outside normal hours as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Professional Nurse license in NYS.
• Ability to pass Critical Care exam within one month of employment or possess a current CEN certificate.
• Relevant experience in the Emergency Department preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
