Registered Nurse for Cardiac & Vascular Care

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac & Vascular Care team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating care for post-procedural extended recovery and observational care patients in our Cardiac Vascular Care Unit. Your responsibilities will include utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes, as well as directing and guiding the delivery of nursing care while collaborating with other healthcare disciplines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Professional Nurse license in New York State.
• BLS or ACLS certification required, with ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Completion of Cardiac Rhythm and Critical Care courses within 3 to 6 months required.
• Demonstrated flexibility, willingness to learn, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
