Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will be responsible for managing patient care by utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes. Your role will include directing and guiding the delivery of nursing care, patient education, and collaborating with other disciplines to maintain professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Administer medications and treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• Prior mental health experience is preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to build therapeutic relationships.
• Ability to meet physical/pre-placement screening requirements.
• Certification showing no record of Child Abuse, Neglect, and/or maltreatment within 30 days of employment.
