Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in accordance with individual care plans and physician orders. Your role involves continuous patient observation, documentation, care coordination, and adherence to professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care following physician orders.
  • Observe and assess patient condition, report changes, and implement appropriate care.
  • Document all activities, assessments, and care coordination accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Update and execute nursing care plans based on assessments and expected outcomes.
  • Provide patient and family education on disease processes, self-care, and preventive strategies.
  • Maintain compliance with Aveanna policies, state regulations, and professional standards.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
  • CPR certification.
  • Proficient in clinical assessments, documentation, and nursing care compliance.
  • Specific state requirements based on location.

Preferences

  • Previous clinical care experience.
  • Home health experience.

Skills/Abilities

  • Detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Good organization skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Travel as needed.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
