Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network team. This position involves managing patient care in the Emergency Room by following the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with patients, families, staff, and management.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in NYS.
• Competency in Critical Care or CEN certification preferred.
• Prior medical/surgical experience as an RN.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work outside normal hours.
• Experience in ambulatory care or physician office setting is a plus.
