Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics - $32-58 per hour

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pediatrics to join our team at Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves providing direct patient care, coordinating operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. As part of the pediatric hematology/oncology & bone marrow transplant unit at Levine Children's Hospital, you will be integral in delivering high-quality care to pediatric patients and young adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist in daily operations, including patient care coordination, resource allocation, communication, and program development.
• Support nursing practice enhancement and effective care delivery in the department.
• Participate in the selection, supervision, and evaluation of nursing personnel.
• Collaborate with the manager to ensure compliance with regulations and policies, and maintain quality patient care standards.
• Assist in evaluating patient care outcomes and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN licensure.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience, with previous management experience preferred.
• BSN required, enrollment in a BSN program within 1 year is mandatory for RNs without a BSN.
• BLS certification required, with a professional certification within 1 year of eligibility.
• Ability to lift and support 35 pounds, critical thinking skills, and fluent in English.
