We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Alternative Care Unit on Shep 3 North at The University of Vermont Medical Center. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a new and innovative unit with long-term care patients. Candidates with strong communication and leadership skills, along with previous charge nurse experience, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to long-term care patients.
• Oversee LPNs and LNAs on the unit.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Previous experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered care approach.
