Job Description

We are looking for a Retail Assistant Store Manager specializing in Visual Merchandising to join our dedicated team at L.L.Bean. This key role involves driving business growth, nurturing talent, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences within our outdoor lifestyle concept store at Wayside Commons in Burlington, MA.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier customer service and guide staff to do the same.
• Implement visual merchandising plans to enhance the brand experience for customers.
• Set and communicate priorities for visual merchandising effectively.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of merchandise plans and seasonal directives.
• Execute store marketing initiatives promptly and accurately.
• Contribute to employee recruitment and training efforts with Store Management.
• Handle employee issues, offer feedback, and promote employee development.
• Promote and facilitate the Learn, Try, Buy, and Enjoy experience for customers.
• Uphold compliance with Loss Prevention policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3+ years of retail experience.
• Strong visual merchandising skills with proven ability to visually merchandise departments and apparel.
• Solid business acumen to achieve sales and service objectives.
• Capable of building strong partnerships and working collaboratively.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate and develop employees.
• High level of enthusiasm, motivation, and a positive attitude.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
