Job Description

As a Retail Sales Associate at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store provides an exceptional shopping experience for customers. From merchandising and stocking products to cashiering and maintaining cleanliness, you will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver top-notch customer service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and stock shelves neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow established security and confidentiality protocols.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Knowledge of general cleaning practices and company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Ability to meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
