Retail Sales Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join Aldi's team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining store appearance, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating with the ALDI team to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

Job Type

Full-Time, 32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage

$16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise
• Assist customers and communicate effectively with the team and management
• Provide feedback on products and inventory, participate in inventory counts
• Follow cash policies, company procedures, and ensure security of documents and data

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to operate a cash register, equipment, and maintain store cleanliness
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• High school diploma preferred, retail experience a plus
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
