Safety and Security Regional Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Regional Manager of Safety and Security to join our team at ArcBest's ABF Freight division. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for protecting company assets and ensuring safe working conditions. Your duties will include conducting safety and security inspections, investigating incidents, analyzing data, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

General Description of Duties

• Conduct safety and security inspections of company facilities.
• Investigate vehicular accidents and handle related processes.
• Provide training sessions on loss prevention and safety measures.
• Analyze data, identify problems, and implement corrective actions.
• Establish relationships with regulatory agencies and management.
• Investigate hazardous material spills and violations.
• Assist in conducting orientation sessions and hazardous material training.
• Supervise personnel and oversee operational tasks.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve department goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work hours are typically 8:00AM - 5:00PM with occasional irregular hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years experience with ArcBest or its subsidiaries.
• Experience in transportation, safety, DOT compliance, or law enforcement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, accident investigation, and criminal law.
