Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Regional Manager of Safety and Security to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As a Regional Manager, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding company assets, promoting safe working conditions, and ensuring compliance with various regulations and standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, investigating accidents, analyzing data, and establishing corrective actions to prevent future incidents.

General Description of Duties

• Conduct safety and security inspections of facilities and properties.
• Investigate vehicular accidents and incidents thoroughly.
• Analyze data, define problems, and implement corrective actions.
• Establish relationships with regulatory agencies and manage hazardous material incidents.
• Lead training sessions and orientation for employees.
• Oversee personnel performance and manage expenditures.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in transportation, safety, or law enforcement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, DOT compliance, and investigative techniques.
• Experience in hazardous material regulations, accident investigation, and criminal law.
