Safety and Security Regional Manager

Job Description

ArcBest II ABF Freight is looking for a dedicated Regional Manager of Safety and Security to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting company assets, ensuring safe working conditions, and maintaining compliance with all regulations.

General Description of Duties

• Conduct safety and security inspections at ABF facilities.
• Investigate and handle vehicular accidents.
• Analyze data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Establish relationships with regulatory agencies and management.
• Lead hazardous material spill investigations and provide training.
• Manage personnel performance and oversee expenditures.
• Work collaboratively to achieve department goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant experience.
• Minimum five years' experience in transportation or safety.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid knowledge of safety regulations and investigative procedures.
• Ability to work irregular hours and potentially hazardous situations.
