Safety and Security Regional Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety and Security Regional Manager to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. This role is crucial in protecting company assets, ensuring safe working conditions, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

General Description of Duties

• Conduct safety and security inspections at company facilities.
• Investigate vehicular accidents and incidents, analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training sessions on loss prevention and safety awareness.
• Establish relationships with regulatory agencies and manage hazardous material incidents.
• Manage personnel, allocate resources, and maintain a positive work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve safety department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of formal education.
• Minimum five years of experience in transportation, safety, or law enforcement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of safety regulations.
• Ability to work irregular hours, conduct investigations, and handle potentially hazardous situations.
