Job Description

We are currently looking to hire a full-time Sterile Processing Technician to join our dedicated team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a Sterile Processing Tech, you will play a crucial role in decontaminating, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Follow the guidance of the Sterile Processing Supervisor to perform decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
• Document the sterilization process accurately and communicate any issues promptly to leadership.
• Participate in the receiving and reprocessing of loaner and consignment sets.
• May act as a preceptor to new staff members or OR staff undergoing cross-training in Sterile Processing.
• Assist in other duties as needed to support surgical services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Having a CRCST or CSPDT or CST certificate is preferred.
• Prior experience in healthcare is a plus.
