Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Store Associate and play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Comply with company policies while safeguarding document security
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe operation of equipment such as hand jacks, floor scrubbers, etc.
• Interpretation and application of company policies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
• Meet local alcohol handling and selling requirements

Educational Background and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience is an asset
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the job
