Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join us as a Store Management Trainee at Aldi. As a trainee, you will receive comprehensive training in all aspects of store management to prepare you for a successful career in running your own store. Your responsibilities will include supervising day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, developing action plans, and mentoring the team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day store activities to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Communicate company values and foster teamwork among employees.
  • Manage staffing levels, schedules, and operational plans.
  • Handle customer concerns and ensure resolution.
  • Maintain store signage and product quality.
  • Participate in hiring and training store personnel.
  • Manage financial aspects like budgets, payroll, and inventory.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience; prior management experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education a plus.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, personnel management, and retail operations.
  • Flexibility to travel as required during training.
