Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining store operations by merchandising products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and welcoming store environment for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring document security
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Proficient in cash register operations and equipment handling
  • Capable of following cleaning standards and company policies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
  • Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
