Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store by handling various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Your focus on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Comply with company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Age Requirement: 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register
• Safe operation of equipment and adherence to cleaning standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
• Meet state and local requirements for alcoholic beverage handling and selling

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience preferred
