Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. You will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts as required.
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures to uphold security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
• Safe operation of equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Capability to meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
