Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Give feedback to management on products, inventory, and other relevant issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Comply with company policies and procedures while upholding security and confidentiality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18+
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe operation of equipment
• General cleaning duties in adherence to company standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
• Organization, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience desirable
• Combination of education and experience with equivalent knowledge
