Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Provide feedback to management on products, inventory, and issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Experience with general cleaning duties and adherence to company policies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
