Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assistance to shoppers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any store-related issues.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
  • Perform assigned duties and tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register.
  • Proficient in using store equipment.
  • Capable of meeting physical demands of the role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
