Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week, starting at $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with team members
• Report product feedback, inventory issues, and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies
• Perform physical tasks including stocking, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general cleaning duties

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate a cash register accurately
• Safely handle equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma preferred, retail experience is a plus
