Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the store maintains a top-notch appearance and provides exceptional customer service. As a full-time team member, you will engage with customers, stock merchandise, operate the cash register, and collaborate effectively with your colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
  • Adhere to company procedures and maintain document security.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Proficient in customer service and cash register operation.
  • Capable of operating store equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to follow company policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
