Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join ALDI's team. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to deliver an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts, adhere to cash policies, and comply with company procedures.
- Perform general cleaning duties and ensure adherence to company standards.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in cash register operation and equipment usage.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
