Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store runs efficiently and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, stocking products, and maintaining cleanliness to create a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in your role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and neatly display merchandise.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Report feedback to management on product issues, inventory, and any other concerns.
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure accuracy in monitoring inventory levels.
• Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality.
• Complete any other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is an advantage.
• Combination of education and experience is acceptable.
