Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and effectively stock shelves
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company procedures
• Follow security protocols and maintain confidentiality of data

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team or independently
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is advantageous
