Job Description
We are hiring a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi to join our team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's operational efficiency by performing various tasks, including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to an excellent shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P) expected for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Conduct inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and various equipment.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask.
- Compliance with state and local regulations on alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Prior experience in a retail environment is a plus.
